About Bright Start Homes CIC

Bright Start Homes is an established Community Interest Company that currently works with several local authorities across the north of England providing supported exempt accommodation to some of society's most vulnerable.

Our aim is to assist local authorities with their supported housing needs for individuals that require high quality care, support, and supervision. We have an operational portfolio, currently providing this type of accommodation to over 300 service users.

We also work in partnership with multiple Registered Provider of Social Housing to deliver these opportunities.

The Purpose Of Bright Start 

- To significantly contribute to improving the quality of life for already disadvantaged and substance misuse related issues Individuals by responsibly housing and supporting each individual

- To accommodate substance misuse related issues Individuals who need support to maintain independent living

- To supply accommodation to the social care sector with support attached to the accommodation license

- To provide a service to the community

- By using a personalised approach to support, to leave clients feeling more positive, better able to cope with everyday life and more able to live an independent life, feeling safe in their own environment

- Conduct a comprehensive needs and risk assessment prior to accepting any clients into the service

- Obtain referrals from the Local Authorities, self-referrals, or from other partner organisations

- Treat clients holistically, ensuring they are engaged in tailor-made support to help clients deal with life's challenges whilst looking forward to a positive future

- Provide housing when there are no other forms of accommodation available or when all other options have been exhausted

- Work with partners and investors to secure appropriate properties

- Provide intensive housing support to every tenant to enable them to maintain a successful tenancy

- Treat all Individuals with dignity, compassion, empathy, and respect
